It is with more than a bit of embarrassment and apologies that we have to tell you that we made an error in tallying the results of the final challenge and winner of Round 2. thesteppyone came in first for her story, Another Lifetime, and was therefore the winner of Round 2, with belladonna803 coming in second.

We want very much to thank both thesteppyone and belladonna803 for their gracious responses to our error.

We apologize, too, to the community as a whole, particularly the other participants. We've reviewed past results and no errors were made. We'll be doing our very best to make sure we triple check the results during the whole of Round 3.

belladonna803's entry was (appropriately!) titled Journey's End:

Our Second Place winner is thesteppyone. Congratulations!

thesteppyone is also the winner of this week's Mods' Choice. The circular nature of the prose while Harry moved from lonely child to content man was wonderful. Also, Harry on a motorbike! Fun stuff!

And now the moment we've all been waiting for, the results for our 8th Challenge:

The winner is thesteppyone for Saving Them. Congratulations for another brilliant drabble!

This week Mod's Choice goes to belladonna803 for Of Snakes and Blankets. We especially loved Molly's drabble; it's not very often we see a drabble where Molly deals with the aftermath of the war and we thought is was done incredibly well.

The drabble with the lowest amount of points was written by loonynamelass who, unfortunately, now has to leave the competition. Thanks for your contribution and for being a great competitor and supporter of the community. Congratulations on your Third Place finish. Thanks for participating!

Neither pili204 or I have been able to get onto lj with any regularity since last night. I can't even update the voting spreadsheet right now.

Thus, we're extending this week's voting until tomorrow morning. That means results and the prompts will go up tomorrow and a similar extension will apply to next week. Drabbles will be due at 11:59 PM EST Tuesday and voting will take place from Wednesday to Friday.

Sorry, drabblers, but if no one can get in, no one can vote and I've been at this for hours. I'm just praying this update goes through before I lose my mind.

Okay, too late for the losing my mind part, but here goes...
